What we process and why

  • Contact form — name, email, phone (optional) and your message, to answer your enquiry. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
  • Club membership application — details of the club, its representative and the attached documents, to review the application under the Statute. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps and legal obligation under the Physical Education and Sports Act (Art. 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR).
  • Public registers — for clubs, governing bodies and sanctions only the name, club, position or category are published. Personal identification numbers and dates of birth are never published. Legal basis: legal obligation (Art. 28 and 89 of the Act).

Retention

Contact form messages are kept for [period]. Membership applications and their attachments are kept for the duration of membership and [period] after it.

Processors and recipients

The website and its data are hosted by Amazon Web Services in the European Union (Frankfurt region, Germany). Forms are protected against automated requests by a hidden field and a fill-time check, without third-party services. Correspondence is handled through Google Workspace. Data is not shared with third parties for marketing. The website uses no analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and you may withdraw consent at any time by writing to office@bffk.bg. You may lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection (www.cpdp.bg).
